The Alpaca – an independent pub with a love for food and drink and a community-minded nature
The Alpaca was born in March 2020 and established itself serving the local area with hot meals, ready-made cocktails and great wine to enjoy for takeaway.
This bumpy start to life, whilst challenging, made us who we are today as we got talking to our neighbours and cemented ourselves as the friendly local pub we’d aspired to be.
If you haven’t visited us before, why not pop by and see what we’re about.
We pride ourselves on being inclusive; with a warm welcome for all and
whether you’re a solo pub-goer popping in for a lunchtime pint or a group of mates out to celebrate – we’ve got you covered and catered for.
Early-week we’re the friendly local boozer with a fine array of beers, cocktails, wines and
non-alcoholic options. Whilst at the weekends, we take it up a gear with music you might not hear anywhere else and a grown-up late-night drinking vibe.
The week is finished off with our famous Sunday roasts, all cooked from scratch and with something for everyone. Our sharing roast platters are particularly
popular with groups of mates and families.

"For a moment, or a second, the pinched expressions of the cynical, world-weary, throat-cutting, miserable bastards we've all had to become disappears, when we're confronted with something as simple as a plate of food." - Anthony Bourdain
